I got everything working but now I am trying to show a link to rss feed for submissions with feeds in link.tpl but it doesn't show up. I am using

To be able to disply RSS feed on detail page I had to add '$data['RSS'] = $rdata['RSS'];' to detail.php. Where must I also add it to be able to use it in link.tpl.
I am also trying to get some RSS parsing script to work on my directory so I wouldn't use javascript to display posts from feeds but PHP script. This way SE could also see it and it would make detail pages more dynamic but I can't get it to work.
Since I can't use Smarty in php code I don't know how to read the feeds URL from the db. Got any ideas or suggestions?
PS: The script allow you to use cashed RSS data so it won't put too much load on server and I have it setup on my dir (even if it's not working) to check the feeds only once per week or not even that if the page don't get any visitors.
