Image score button Lite

If you look to your right in the side bar or on any of our directory detail pages, you see the image button in action.

What does it do?
This button is available to your directory listed websites to be placed on their website.
When clicked on, it will direct the visitor to the website detail page, giving detailed information about the website.
It will also increase the score with 1.
The Score is the total of all hits from your directory to the listed website plus all hits coming from the listed website.

Hits to the listed website is already secured by the hits limiting feature that comes with phpLD.
Hits from the listed website are secured in two ways;
Only one hit per unique IP address per hour will account for 1 score and
the hit must come from the same domain the button is intented for.

when both conditions are met, the score will increase with 1
if a click from the same IP address is made within 1 hour or if the button is clicked from a different domain, no score will be credited.

In any case, the click on the button will always direct to the detail page of the listed website.

This is a nice alternative to the regular link back url.
The button displays the domain, the score, and the date the link has been added to your directory.
The text in green is editable in the directory ACP
font sizes and colors for each line is also configurable from the ACP

The button image background is created by an image that easely can be changed.
You can use any image (png) as a background.
The size I choose is 120 x 60 pixels. This is a standard used image size. Not too big, but big enought to be noticed.

You can use this mod to incourage your listed sites to display the image button by setting your default sorting option to referrers or incoming hits, but more about this later..
